Electro-Harmonix 8 Step Program Analog Expression/CV Sequencer

Unlock new creative potential from your expression-ready pedals and synthesizers with the Electro-Harmonix 8 Step Program. This powerful tool delivers hands-on, step-sequenced control over any device featuring an expression pedal input or Control Voltage (CV) jack, allowing you to create rhythmic pitch shifts, sweeping filter modulations, and dynamic sonic textures.

Features

• Advanced MIDI Control: Features a dedicated MIDI IN jack allowing you to sync the sequencer's tempo perfectly to an external MIDI Clock. It also offers full MIDI integration to automate every single parameter on the fly via Program Change and CC messages.
• Three Playback Modes: Supports Loop mode for continuous cycles, 1-Shot mode for triggering the sequence exactly once, and Step-Thru mode for manually advancing through steps via external control or footswitches.
• 8-Step Sequencer & Variable Length: Features eight independent sliders with LED indicators to define precise expression values. Sequence length can be adjusted dynamically in real time from 1 to 8 steps.
• Versatile Directions & Glide: Built-in rotary encoder lets you control Glide time (smoothness between steps), depth, and direction. Choose between Forward, Reverse, Bounce, and Random playback paths.
• Flexible Sync & Subdivisions: Set your tempo using the onboard Rate slider or the Tap Tempo footswitch. Includes 5–6 Tap Tempo Divide modes for intricate rhythmic subdivisions (like triplets and sixteenth notes).
• Dual Output Compatibility: Features a single main output jack that handles standard TRS expression control or TS control voltage (0-5V CV) to integrate seamlessly with both modern effects pedals and vintage modular gear.
• Preset Recall: Save and recall up to 10 presets directly on the main unit, which can be expanded to 100 presets using an external MIDI controller or the optional EHX Foot Controller.
