Sofort verfügbar, in Stuttgart anspielbar.

English Version:

22-Watt Deluxe Reverb Circuit in a Princeton-Sized Cabinet — Hand-Wired, with Master Volume, Tweed Blend, and Real Tube-Driven Spring Reverb.

The idea: take the big, open, dynamic clean sound of a Deluxe Reverb and put it into a more practical, grab-and-go format — 22 watts, 1x10 speaker, Princeton-sized cabinet. The result is generous headroom, immediate response, and a lively playing feel, deliberately focused to a single channel with no tremolo. More clean headroom than a Princeton, more compact and significantly lighter than a full-size Deluxe Reverb.

With the Master Volume wide open, this is a stage-ready, long-staying-clean pedal platform. Effects come through with their own character intact — the amp adds colour without imposing it.

Pull the Master Volume back and push the preamp volume up, and the amp breaks up at low stage volumes. From light crunch all the way to full overdrive — pushing into Marshall territory if you want it. The Tweed control dials in gain and midrange character, functioning almost like a built-in overdrive. It introduces an additional capacitor into the tone stack, shifting the voicing from open blackface toward the compressed warmth of early tweed and brownface circuits.

The Mid-Scoop switch moves the fundamental character of the amp: in Super position, the mids shift into the upper-mids — the overdrive bite and cut of the Super Reverb, without the weight of a 4x10 cabinet. In Deluxeposition, you get the full body and warmth of the classic Deluxe Reverb voice.

The 1x10 is not a compromise. The WGS ET10 is a highly efficient speaker that carries 22 watts of clean headroom without breaking a sweat, and stays composed and focused under gain.

Every component is chosen for its specific role: Vishay/Roederstein film capacitors, Hammond transformers throughout (PT, OT, choke, reverb input and output), quality resistors throughout. Not value-engineered like the original brand, but not blindly expensive boutique voodoo either — the best solution for each position.

The cabinet on this example is birch plywood. Aged grille cloth with a warm yellow tone, black tolex, black faceplate on gold — a distinctive vintage look somewhere between Fender charm and a hint of early Marshall character.

Features:

– 3-way NFB switch (standard / reduced / off

— more open feel and overdrive character at each step)

– 2-way Mid-Scoop switch (Deluxe or Super Reverb voicing)

– Tweed control for brownface/tweed overdrive character

– Rear-panel Dwell control for reverb intensity

– WGS ET10, 65W — efficient, clean-headroom-strong, good midrange presence

– Compact grab-and-go format

This amplifier is built to be handed down, not to generate the next turnover as quickly as possible.

Hand-wired amps like this one cannot be compared to industrially manufactured, profit-optimised reissues — products that reach neither the sonic nor the structural standard of Leo Fender's original work. Where robot-populated production amps frequently suffer from weak solder joints and are populated with the cheapest available components for margin reasons, I select every single part here for best-in-class quality at its specific function. Every connection is made mechanically first, then soldered by hand, built up carefully, and verified point by point. No assembly line, no PCB, no compromises.

The faceplate is custom-made. A different name or typeface can be done at no extra charge — I'll send preview images in chat on request.

Not sure if this amp is right for you? You can try it for 14 days. If it's not the right fit, simply return it — you pay only the shipping both ways plus a €100 wear and handling fee.

Ready to ship. Available for a test play in Stuttgart. Shipping across Europe possible.

About me: I'm a hobbyist who has spent years building, servicing, and restoring guitar amplifiers — because I genuinely enjoy it. I'm not a registered business. I build these amps for myself, list them once they're finished, and play them with my cover band until they find a new home. Once one sells, I start the next — because the building is the point.

I offer a voluntary 1-year warranty on my workmanship (consumables such as tubes and speaker excluded) and remain available for questions, servicing, or modifications beyond that.
