For sale: A vintage McIntosh MAC1700 two-channel FM stereo receiver.
This unit was restored in 2019, although it has since been exposed to relatively high humidity (65–70%) for a couple of years. It is now kept in a humidity-controlled environment.
Some oxidation/rust is visible on a few metal parts. The wooden cabinet has some scratches and nicks, although it remains in good overall condition.
The unit is working, but given its age and history, it would be advisable to have it inspected and cleaned by a qualified technician and, if necessary, undergo some minor restoration before regular operation.
The unit is sold as is and will be carefully packed and shipped.
