The Vemuram Myriad Fuzz (serial number MF00959) is a high-end boutique pedal highly sought after by guitarists and collectors alike. As a unit with a four-digit serial number below 1000, it belongs to the early production batches (dating roughly to 2019–2020).
This pedal was created through a close collaboration between the Japanese brand Vemuram Custom Pedals and renowned guitarist Josh Smith.
Key Pedal Features – Hybrid Circuit: It uniquely combines a silicon transistor with a vintage germanium transistor.
This allows for a tonal range spanning from cutting, modern tones to warm, smooth, and dynamic vintage-style sounds.
Rear Bias Control: A small trimmer, adjustable via a mini-screwdriver, is located on the back of the brass chassis.
This control adjusts the bias of the germanium transistor, allowing the player to shift from a "spitty" fuzz sound to smooth, full-bodied sustain.
It is celebrated for its incredible dynamic response and the way it cleans up organically simply by rolling back the guitar's volume knob.
