15.5" GM Designs Prototype THIN HiHat Pair - Dark, Smoky and Defined!

These one-of-a-kind 15.5" Prototype Hi-Hats were built for players looking for something outside the ordinary. Both cymbals are equally thin and nearly identical in weight, allowing you to swap the top and bottom hats for different sticking responses, textures, and creative playing options.

Both cymbals feature extra-large bells for added volume and pronounced bell accents. The bottom hat also features two air vents to help prevent air lock and keep the pair breathing freely.

Visually, these hats are just as unique as they sound. The top features extensive lathing with scattered hammering, while the bottom combines a darker, heavily hammered raw center with a lathed outer section, giving the pair a striking contrasting appearance.

Their lightweight construction makes them quick and responsive, with a dark, hissing tone, direct stick definition, and warm character. Since the two cymbals are so closely matched in weight, either one can take the top position—giving you two personalities from one pair.
