Use as individual effects pedals OR a multi-effects processor!

Designed as an Integrated Effects Switching System, the RP500 puts real, individual stompboxes right at your feet. Five dedicated switches give you instant On/Off control over your Compressor, Distortion, Modulation, Delay, and Reverb on the fly—just like a standard pedalboard. On top of that, it doubles as a full-featured multi-effects processor with 200 presets, amp/cab modeling, and up to 10 simultaneous effects!

A standout from DigiTech’s retro-era generation of guitar technology, the RP500 has a strong modern-vintage appeal, combining an extensive effects engine with hands-on pedalboard control, amp and cabinet modelling, USB recording and a built-in looper.

The RP500 comes from DigiTech’s AudioDNA2 generation, delivering a substantial collection of guitar effects and amp models in a rugged, stage-ready floorboard designed for hands-on control.

Features include:

·        100 factory presets and 100 user presets

·        Pedalboard Mode for individual effect switching

·        Up to 10 simultaneous effects

·        AudioDNA2 DSP processing

·        Amp and cabinet modelling

·        Amp/Cabinet Bypass for use with your own guitar amplifier

·        Built-in expression pedal

·        20-second looper with overdubbing

·        USB computer audio interface

·        2-channel USB audio streaming to and from computer

·        24-bit / 44.1 kHz digital audio

·        Balanced XLR left and right outputs

·        Stereo 1/4-inch outputs

·        CD/MP3 input

·        Headphone output

·        Heavy-duty metal chassis and footswitches

·        Bright LED displays for preset and effect status

Pedalboard Mode gives the RP500 a particularly hands-on feel, allowing the five main footswitches to control individual effects within a programmed sound rather than simply recalling complete presets.

The 20-second looper provides phrase recording and overdubbing, while the combination of amp modelling, cabinet modelling and extensive effects gives you a huge range of guitar sounds from a single floorboard.

The Amp/Cabinet Bypass function makes the RP500 equally useful with a conventional guitar amplifier, allowing it to operate as a sophisticated programmable effects pedalboard.

USB connectivity adds another dimension, providing two channels of audio to and from a computer for recording and computer-based guitar work. DigiTech’s X-Edit software also provides computer-based editing and preset management.

With its combination of physical footswitch control, expression pedal, extensive effects, amp modelling, looper and USB audio, the RP500 remains an exceptionally versatile piece of DigiTech guitar gear.

A great example of DigiTech’s retro-era multi-effects technology, with the hands-on functionality and substantial hardware that gives this generation of gear its distinctive modern-vintage character.

A serious DigiTech floorboard for guitarists who want a huge range of effects and tones without sacrificing real pedalboard-style control.
