I bought this new in 1973. Lightly gigged
In 1979 I had a luthier remove the frets, pots and pick guard as I was after a really minimalist instrument.
I have one original pot, not fitted, and the thumb rest and original pick guard refitted.
The case is the original, not a fender, and shows its age, but is still functional.
I left it in a cupboard for 45 years and a cheap strap burnt a couple of spots into the finish at the upper and lower bounds.
Other than that and a bit of minimal buckle rash, it’s in good nick I think.
I have had a luthier return the bass to its original state, with a refret and the pick guard refitted.
The pickups have been rewound with original spec wire.
Selling as I never play it and it could do with a new loving home.
