Up for sale is a 1960s Camco Oaklawn 8-Lug Tuxedo Snare Drum in Black & Gold Duco. The lacquer finish is original and in good condition considering the age of this drum, however there are some scratches and small areas of paint chipping off as you would expect from a 1960s drum. Please examine the photos in this listing carefully as they are an integral part of the description of these drums. The bearing edges are original and in nice shape as well. The lugs (& their corresponding mounting screws & washers) and Camco Oaklawn cloud badge are original and in very good condition. The drum key holder is original and functions perfectly but the chrome finish has come off the wingnut. The snare throw-off is a Dunnett reproduction of the Camco Economy Snare throw-off, offering smooth and simple functionality while maintaining a similar design as the original Camco throw-off. The butt plate is original except it was missing the small horizontal rod that goes into the bottom of it where the snare wires attach to, so I used a small drill bit and super glued it in to replace that rod and it works very well. The tension rods, tension rod washers, hoops, snare wires, dum heads, and grommet (for the drum badge) are not original to this drum.
