Here is a supreme example of a Collector's Set; an original pairing of Brooklyn-based Epiphone's pre-war lap steel / amplifier combination; an Epiphone Electra Zephyr Hawaiian set. This combination was Epiphone's high end pre-war electric Hawaiian package.

Circa 1939, both of the these fabulous pieces of American musical history are in perfect working order and ooze tone, cool, wow, and ahhhh!

Included is the amp, recently serviced and working! The steel, bitchin' and screaming; and the case...original, with a few old string packs and some handwritten sheet music from who knows when!

There are indications that Les Paul himself was in and around this building as he as formulating plans to shake up the guitar world. Did he have a hand in making these?

In the 85 or so years since these instruments were made, there have no doubt been modifications, but "original" seems to apply nicely.

Obviously, ask away and I will endeavor to answer...
