Up for sale is a flagship Nakamichi CR-7E discrete 3-head cassette deck in proper working order, along with Nakamichi remote control, and Original Printed Owner’s Manual (and official Nakamichi Recommended Cassette Tapes insert).

This unit carries serial number 16373, confirming it as a desirable late-production build featuring the factory gear-drive reel motor assembly (eliminating the common wear and slipping issues associated with earlier idler-wheel designs). Furthermore this is a European specification 'E' variant equipped with the original 2-pin Europlug (CEE 7/16) mains cable.

Background & Provenance I originally acquired this CR-7E specifically for a personal archiving project: digitally transferring a small collection of around 20 cassette tapes featuring my father's live concert performances from the late 1970s and 1980s. Now that the digitization project is complete, I no longer have a active need for a flagship deck. As much as I appreciate the engineering and sound quality of this unit, I would rather pass it on to an enthusiast or collector who will make good use of it.

Condition & Shipping Cosmetically and mechanically excellent aside from some minor paint wear flecks/nicks along the top metal edge of the front faceplate where the black finish has rubbed off, visible upon close inspection (clearly highlighted in the macro close-up photos).The unit will be packed securely with generous high-density padding and double-boxing to ensure safe delivery.
