Gibson Les Paul "The Paul" 1978

With the Original Gibson hard case

The guitar is completely original, except for the bridge pickup, which was replaced with a 1980s Seymour Duncan model.

See the sticker on the back of the pickup in the photos: 59: Indicates the '59 model (SH-1), a humbucker designed to replicate the classic sound of 1950s Gibson PAF pickups (Alnico 5). B: Stands for Bridge. J: The ID code for Maricela Juarez. At the time, Seymour Duncan used a letter to identify the craftsperson who physically assembled or wound the pickup ("J" for Juarez). (Maricela Juarez is a true legend of the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop and Seymour Duncan's most trusted master builder, having wound custom pickups for guitar gods such as Eddie Van Halen, Slash, Billy Gibbons, David Gilmour, Eric Clapton, and Jimmy Page.)

Original wiring, potentiometers, capacitors, knobs...

The guitar shows signs of age and use; the fretboard shows wear from playing (see photos) but remains playable. Everything has been checked and functions correctly.

The case has also been used, very worn on the outside and has had some repairs, two of the three side hooks have been regenerated, the other one was ok, the one on the bottom was not, the handle was literally welded with a piece of metal so it doesn't come off.

The inside of the case, however, is soft, without tears and smells clean (I would like to point out that an identical case from the 70s in perfect condition would cost over 350 euros in Europe)

The guitar will be shipped fully cleaned, with polished frets and new D'Addario Nickel Wound strings.
