Here we have a cool Fender Telecaster from the Standard Series, Made in Mexico, year 2011. An honest player’s Tele that has been played and is allowed to look that way.
It has the odd ding and dent as well as normal signs of use – please check the photos for details. The hardware is still in very presentable condition for its age. We completely disassembled the guitar and gave it a thorough cleaning.
The frets showed signs of wear. We carefully levelled, recrowned and polished them and then gave the guitar a complete setup. Now everything is back the way it should be.
The lightly satin-finished maple neck with the typical Modern C profile feels excellent in the hand and is very comfortable to play. Tonally, it does exactly what a Tele should do: direct, crisp and uncomplicated.
Not a guitar for the display case, but an honest workhorse for the stage.
