The FootTaps is a passive acoustic foot drum designed and hand-built by an electrical engineer who has experienced the pains of not being able to find what one really wants in a foot drum: Comfort and carefreeness so that the musician can focus on playing the Guitar, rather than worrying when the Foot drum battery will run out.

No batteries. Built like a military tank. What goes under the foot like a skate needs to be dependable to take on your body weight in case you stand (Do not on purpose! Unless you are on a guitar smashing spree too.). Pick up a screwdriver and you are on your way to open it to experiment.

4 large piezo pickups (50 mm each) — 2 toe + 2 heel. Unlike single-pickup stompers, the FootTaps gives you two playing zones under one foot: heel for the deep kick, toe for accents — enabling mixed heel-toe playing and faster beat patterns that single-zone boxes simply can't produce.

Battery-less passive EQ on board. Adjust volume, bass, and treble directly on the unit — no battery, no power supply, no wall wart. Your signal chain stays completely passive and stage-ready.

Plays through ONE amp input — splitter included. Only one input on your amp? Covered. A 1/4" (6.35 mm) dual-jack splitter adapter is included so your guitar and FootTaps run into a single amplifier together — unbox, plug, and stomp.

Engineered wood body with reverberation port. A smooth, resonant playing surface, with a round port on the underside adding natural depth and reverb character to every tap.

Designed like an instrument, built like a circuit. The FootTaps was designed by an electrical engineer: four 50 mm piezos wired through a fully passive tone network, EQ controls recessed inside the reverberation port so nothing protrudes on stage, and an engineered-wood body chosen for consistent resonance tap after tap.
