The Taylor Baby series has long been a favorite among beginners, young players, and traveling musicians, and the BT2 Mahogany takes that legacy to a warm, woody new level. With its solid neo-tropical mahogany top and layered sapele back and sides, this three-quarter-size Dreadnought delivers a surprisingly full and bold sound for its compact dimensions.
Its slim neck profile and shorter 22-3/4" scale length make it especially comfortable for new players just getting started, while experienced guitarists will find it to be a perfect grab-and-go travel companion or songwriting tool. The BT2’s straightforward design emphasizes playability and tone, and its durable layered construction ensures it can handle life on the road with ease. Finished in a natural matte look that complements its warm sonic character, the BT2 offers an ideal blend of portability, tone, and affordability. A lightweight gig bag is included for easy transport. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.
