Suhr Classic S Maple SSS - Surf Green
The Suhr Classic S Maple SSS in Surf Green blends vintage-inspired aesthetics with modern build quality, delivering a familiar feel and a versatile tone platform suited for today’s players. Built with a two-piece alder body and finished in a timeless gloss Surf Green, this guitar captures the spirit of a vintage S-style instrument while offering the precision and performance of a Suhr.
The body features arm, hand, and tummy contours for effortless comfort during long playing sessions, while parchment appointments across the pickguard, knobs, and pickup covers give the guitar a warm, classic look. A Suhr 2-post tremolo system with bent saddles and a steel block allows for expressive pitch control with smooth response and excellent tuning stability.
The one-piece maple neck is shaped to Suhr’s 60’s C Vintage Standard profile (.810"–.930"), finished in a natural satin with a subtle vintage tint. Combined with a 9"–12" compound radius and rolled fingerboard edges, it offers a broken-in feel right out of the case. 22 medium stainless steel frets provide long-lasting performance, allowing for easy bends and fast, articulate playing across the fretboard.
Outfitted with a trio of Suhr V60LP single-coil pickups, this Classic S delivers quintessential S-style tones—crisp, dynamic, and harmonically rich. These pickups are voiced to capture the glassy highs and round lows of vintage single coils, without harshness. The onboard SSCII (Silent Single Coil II) system eliminates 60-cycle hum, giving you clean, noise-free operation even in high-gain or studio settings.
Additional features include Suhr locking tuners for tuning stability, a chrome side jack, parchment tremolo cavity cover, and a deluxe gig bag. Whether you're chasing vintage tones or exploring modern textures, the Classic S in Surf Green offers professional-grade performance with unmistakable style.
