Here for sale we have a PRS Mira Electric Guitar in Cherry finish. Made in the USA in 2008, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck, and a 24-fret Rosewood. Other appointments include PRS locking tuners, a wraparound bridge and two PRS Mira pickups that are wired to a master volume, master tone, a three-way pickup selector, and a mini-toggle coil tap switch. The Gloss finished 'Regular' neck profile feels as you'd expect with a PRS neck, slim for lead lines, yet providing enough chunkiness to sustain a comfortable grip for chords. The Rosewood fretboard feels smooth under the fingers providing a great surface for vibrato, with the 25" scale length offering slightly less tension for big bends. The 10" radius offers easy chordal fretting whilst remaining flat enough for lead lines and string bending- perfect for a range of genres such as jazz, blues and even rock. The Mira Treble and Bass pickups both produce a range of sounds, demonstrating smooth tones with lots of clarity. The neck delivers a thick rounded sound that cuts through with clarity whilst retaining a great bass and low-mid quality. The bridge pickup delivers a brighter sound with plenty of 'jangle' and a pinch of high-mids and treble. The master volume and tone controls keep things simple, whilst providing the player more options to dial in their sound. The mini toggle coil tap function opens up the possibility for single-coil style sounds, making this a versatile guitar for any genre or player. All aspects of the headstock demonstrate light scratching, indentation and clouding to the finish in some areas. Most notably, the bass side corner edge demonstrates a mild indentation that has removed the finish and reveals the wood beneath. Areas of delamination that have not removed any of the finish can be found towards the bass side of the top edge, with smaller areas at the centre of the front face edge and treble side cutaway corner. Small indentations that have not removed any of the finish are apparent to the bass side front face edge, between the E and A winding posts.Neck: Overall very good condition. Light indentation is apparent to the fingerboard at frets 1, 16 & 17. These cannot be felt beneath the strings. Any other markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.Body: Overall good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light to mild scratching and indentations. Most notably indentation to the bass side edge of the lower bout, near where the forearm rests, that has removed the finish. The rear face demonstrates significant concentrated scratching, consistent with bucklerash, removing the finish in some areas.Condition of Frets:The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.Current Set Up:Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) not included.Hardware: Fully functional and good condition. The pickguard demonstrates consistent light scratching. Tooling marks are apparent to the bridge height adjustment screws, most notably at the bass side.Structural: No concerns or issues to note.Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mmPlease be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height.Strings on Guitar - 10-46Electrics: Fully functional.Case & AccessoriesPRS hard case.Fully functional and good condition. The interior of the case displays a smell of dampness, this is from previous storage from a past owner. All aspects of the case demonstrate moderate signs of previous use with tape being applied to various points of the exterior. All clasps, compartments, straps and handles are functional.
