Video: Hear Orange's TremLord 30, a Brand-New, All-Tube Combo

Brand-new for NAMM this year, Orange has released the TremLord 30—a 1x12, 30-watt, all-tube guitar combo that Orange calls its "very British take on the 1950s amplifier."

As you may have guessed from its name, the TremLord 30 features a 12AX7 tube-powered tremolo with footswitchable speeds for depth and versatility, as well as a tube-buffered FX loop driven by a 12AT7. The TremLord 30 also features a two-spring reverb tank, driven by a single 12AT7/ECC81 tube and a custom transformer. Players can add a foot pedal for easy switching on and off.

Another build highlight is its speaker, which was designed in partnership with Italian speaker designer Lavoce, and promises more headroom and smoother top-end, in line with achieving the vintage tones the amp was designed for.

Players can also take advantage of the "bedroom" mode when playing at home or in their practice space. It drops the amp to one or two watts while retaining the springiness and character of the amp so that you can get great tones even at low volumes. Then, easily flip to 15 or 30 watts when it's time to hit the stage.
