Tris Imboden’s professional career has spanned 6 decades and is going strong!  From his first professional gig was in 1970 with the now legendary HONK, and his current gig with The Tris Imboden Yacht Stars, Tris has performed with A-list music icons including Neil Diamond, Kenny Loggins, Firefall, Richard Marx, Steve Vai, Roger Daltrey, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Chicago, Anita Baker, Julio Iglesias, Stevie Wonder and many more. Highlights of his career include driving Kenny Loggins' "Footloose", and "I'm Alright” to the top of the charts plus a 28 year gig as a member of Chicago.

Tris amassed a massive collection of drum gear over his six decade career. He’s decided to keep just enough to cover his current gigs, and asked my help finding worthy homes for the remainder of his collection. 

Tris Imboden’s endorsement relationship with Paiste began in 2007 and is going strong almost 2 decades later. 

From the personal collection of legendary drummer Tris Imboden, longtime drummer for Chicago, this Paiste 20" Twenty Custom Collection Full Crash is an outstanding example from one of Paiste's shortest-lived and most highly regarded professional series.

Introduced in 2011, the Twenty Custom Collection combined traditional Turkish-made CuSn20 bronze with Paiste's legendary Swiss finishing and consistency. The Full Crash was designed to deliver a broad, powerful crash with exceptional warmth, shimmering highs, and a rich, musical sustain that made it equally at home in the studio and on arena stages. Although the series was produced for only a few years before evolving into the Masters Collection, it has developed a devoted following among collectors and professional drummers alike.

Weighing 2206 grams, this cymbal offers a full-bodied, explosive attack with impressive projection while retaining the warm, complex tonal character that defines the Twenty Custom Collection.
