Very early Don Grosh build in 1996. Weight is 7 lb. 13 oz. Alder body.
Serial number on body and neck match
Serial number under #0467 (does not have ser # etched on neckplate)
Nut width 1-11/16”
Neck carve is a thick C 9.5 radius
Refretted with SS frets a few years back (6105 fretwire)
Neck straight, Action low. There is no finish on the fretboard.
New Gotoh saddles to properly intonate this guitar (Don never uses these)
New Grosh pickguard single ply
Prior owner stripped the top and recontoured the upper bout which is odd but whatever. Previous owner also attempted to "relic" it which just put a couple gashes in the upper bout.
Electronics original.
Sounds and plays fantastic! This guitar is truly remarkable and sounds so good. I need a flatter neck for the way I play otherwise I would absolutely be keeping this guitar.
