Eurorack Attache Briefcase w/. custom Mixer Module. 88HP, 7U (powered) 4 channel 2-Bus, 18 Fader Stereo/Mono Mixer Module

This listing is for a Giant Head Custom Eurorack Attache Briefcase 88HP, 7U (powered) and also houses a custom built in 1U 4 channel stereo or 8 channel mono, 2-Bus, 18 Fader Mixer Module with balanced driven stereo outputs to TRS jack. Other modules in picture 2 are not included. There are two sets of 8 faders for each stereo bus. The 2 balanced outputs also pass through a transformer each for character and galvanic isolation. The output is fairly hot when fully cranked as I am not happy with too quiet an output and a (sometimes) subsequently noisey signal from further amplification. The signals from this module and case are not at all noisey using my modules due to the mixer module design and the excellent filtered power supply from Konstant Labs. AC signal only comes from the balanced outputs. The buses are DC coupled and can be used as send and returns or phase flipped and mixed and modulated for other interesting creative audio. There is a vactrol-based mute circuit for each of the four stereo channels for clickless muting. When muted the CV inputs allows each channel to be used as a VCA. The module also house the on switch and has a cream aluminium powder coated faceplate.

Signals can be monitored when the faders are down by viewing the LEDs that represent positive and negative signals. LEDs go off when Mute is on. Mute cuts when the button is pressed in and then it latches. Mute is still active when the button is pressed, the signal returns when you let go and the button unlatches. My preference. This case was built for me for performances. Powered by Konstant Lab SEVENTY 70 watt power and filtered bus board. Comes with new power brick and kettle lead. And I've just added rubber feet for table top stability.
