Inspired by Blake Mills, I sought out an old Bell & Howell AQ2A projector amp, and let me tell you... it took me a long time to find one! These are extremely cool and unique sounding, and are definitely something that would add a unique sonic palette to your setup.
I wanted to get this one overhauled by Austen Hooks (I've had a couple of amps from him before) but his prices went up quite a bit.
It has the Devry transformers, the original Jensen speaker, and is ready for you to transform! Any good tech should be able to tackle this and get good results.
This is a great opportunity to have a fire breathing amp for studio or live recording, and not have to pay almost 10x the amount. Check this out if you're bored with "run of the mill" type amp sounds and want to try something with a unique and rad character!
