From the famous Fender JV Series of guitars made in the early to mid 1980's by the Fujigen factory in Japan, the CST-30 was a Squier branded model that was designed to replicate the '70's CBS Stratocaster made only a few years before. Don't let the Squier name fool you, these were made alongside the Fender branded models of the same era and are every bit as good!
Basswood body bolted to a slim profile maple neck with a 21 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.6kg's. This one appears to be all original as pictured with a six-point tremolo system and Fender Japan branded tuners. Good vintage condition with only light signs of wear and tear as pictured. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are heavily worn and pitted but still play well and have enough life for a level if needed.
