This is a super cool vintage Japanese tube head! These were made around 1967. Ace Tone was Ikutaro Kakehashi and eventually evolved into Roland. This amp features 2 channels, reverb, and tremolo.
This amp is 25W, and powered by 2 50HB26 power tubes. The preamp section has 3 12AX7s, a 6AV6 and 6AQ8. This amp was made in Japan for the Japanese market, but fortunately allows for switching between 100V and 117V for the added benefit of North American operation. We currently have this switched to 117V and it is ready to rock!
Includes unit only as pictured.
Everything functions great and sounds nice and clean. The amp shows wear consistent with age such as blemishes in the tolex, scratches, light discoloration and other wear throughout. The handle shows significant wear as pictured. This one still retains its original 2 prong cable.
