Suiko Akebono (シンセ箏 曙), made in Japan in the 1980s. Tested and working — powers on, all sounds play, keys respond.
15 voices: koto, 17-string koto, shamisen, biwa, shakuhachi, shinobue, nokan, hichiriki, sho, kokyu, plus a percussion mode with 13 taiko/tsuzumi/clapper/bell sounds and two vocal calls.
Two rows of koto-string buttons for glissando runs. 8 traditional tuning presets (Hirajoshi, Kumoijoshi, Kokinjoshi, Nogijoshi, Gakujoshi, Min'yo, plus two 17-string modes). Joystick for pitch and volume, effect button, octave shift, equal/just temperament. Onboard memory and auto-play, IC card slot. Headphone and line out. Runs on 9V AC
Condition: signs of water damage — some screws on the case show corrosion. Doesn't affect operation that I can tell, but sold as-is for that reason. No speaker case (originally came with one).
Ships from Nova Scotia. Ask me anything before you buy.
