Fender Twin Reverb Head 2-Channel 100Watts

If you're looking at this you know that this is an extremely’Rare’ Fender Twin Reverb Head Amplifier!

Fender never made a Twin Reverb Head. The Twin 12” Combo is the most common amp. The closest they came was a Dual Showman Head in the ‘60’s which doesn’t have the same output power or features of this one. 

You would find it very hard to find another Twin Reverb Head it would have to be a conversion as this one is.

This was originally a 100W BassMan chassis.

All cabinet hardware is ‘New’ and the cabinet has been re-tolexed in Antique Cream with Oxblood front panel.

The Faceplate is new as are the CTS controls pots.

Tubes are all brand new with 4 x JJ Tesla 6L6 output tubes.

Pre-amp tubes are all JJ Tesla.

Extra circuitry & Valves have been added to include the Footswitchable (Footswitch included) Reverb and Vibrato circuits available to both channels as per Rob Robinette’s mod. 

Channel 1 has been voiced for lead and channel 2 for Rythmn as per Rob’s mods.

Using an external Y cable and an AB switch box (not supplied) at the input you can switch between the 2 pre-set channels if desired.

It has selectable International mains primary voltage tappings currently set to 240AC.

All components are vintage period correct for Twin Reverb AB763 Blackface circuitry.

It comes with an accutronics 3 spring reverb can installed.

New High Volt capacitors and orange drop tone capacitors throughout, and new carbon composite resistors in the Reverb & Vibrato circuits. HV voltage is also internally fused.

The Twin Reverb Head allows for more portability, (weighing 20kg) as opposed to the Twin Reverb Twin ‘Hernia’ Combo amps at between 35-40kg depending on speaker type😀and also gives flexibility with regard to your choice of your speaker cabinets. Single 12” for small gigs or 2x12” for medium gigs or Quad Box for larger venues. 

Note: Minimum speaker impedance must not be lower than 4 ohms.

Amp comes with a 12months, return to base, warranty on parts and labour excluding Valves.
