This is THE TONE that out Paiste on the map in the late 1960s and early 1970s! They’re the Very Early Ones with more ripples. More edge on the edge. Really hard to find these days. Some of the first ever.

It is absolutely preposterous to spend $800 on a "Reissue" when you can have the REAL DEAL Vintage Paistes for a lot less money. And these are the rare iconic Sound Edges too.
Famous clean and crisp PAISTE Early Sound Edges 602 tone. Dark with a pinch of complex and responsive tone. 852 and 958 grams.
Of course, they have that wonderful splashy and clean 602 tone when opened. When played with your foot they deliver a terrific Early Paiste Sound Edge style CHICK.

Stunning, nearly 60 year-old silvery golden patina, mellows these 14s" out perfectly.
