1987 Kramer Ferrington KFB-2 Acoustic/Electric Bass – Tobacco Sunburst – Gig Bag

Up for sale is a vintage Kramer Ferrington KFB-2 acoustic/electric bass in Tobacco Sunburst finish. Produced during the late 1980s, the Ferrington basses are considerably less common than their guitar counterparts and have become increasingly sought after by collectors and players looking for a unique acoustic bass with classic Kramer styling.

This bass features the distinctive Ferrington offset soundhole design, side-mounted electronics, comfortable neck profile, and excellent plugged-in performance. It plays well and delivers the unique tone that made the Ferrington series popular.

Condition is very good for its age. The instrument shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with nearly 40 years of use, including minor scratches and handling marks. The top exhibits a slight wave/buckle around the soundhole area that appears consistent with age. There are no cracks, repairs, separations, or known structural issues, and the bass remains stable and fully functional.

One tuning machine has been replaced at some point during the instrument’s life. It functions properly and does not affect playability.
