If you're looking for a drum you won't see every day, here's your chance. Up for sale is a genuine 1960s Slingerland Chrome Over Brass Dual Super snare drum featuring the highly sought-after dual snare strainer system.

This drum is being sold exactly as found. The shell is here no dings or dents, the hardware is here, and the drum functions and plays as a snare drum should. However, some of the hard-to-find extended snare system parts are missing, including the roller pins and extended snare wires. The top batter hoop is also a non-original triple-flanged replacement rather than the correct Slingerland hoop, but again this drum as setup plays and functions as a regular snare, it just doesn't utilize the dual snare functions since those parts are missing.

The good news? The expensive and important part—the Chrome Over Brass shell—is here. With some chrome cleanup, and the right parts hunt, this could become a fantastic restoration project or a killer studio drum with the COB sounds.
