Here we have a 2004, American Stratocaster, Maple Board in 3 tone sunburst celebrated with the 50th anniversary neckplate.
Comes with the 50th anniversary G&G tweed case, and all case candy pictured.
Guitar has some signs of wear, but amazing condition for its age.
Has a fresh setup, new strings, ready to rock.
2004 Fender 50th Anniversary American Series
The Fender 50th Anniversary Stratocaster appeared in 2004, commemorating the appearance of the Fender Stratocaster in 1954.
Built in 2004 at the Fender plant in Corona, California.
This example features an Ash body and Maple neck, with a single-layer white pickguard. The finish is the 3 tone sunburst. This is not a slavish re-creation of the 1954 model.
It also sports a modern two-point tremolo bridge with steel block saddles – improved brightness, clarity, and separation offered by the heavier bridge components.
The two-pivot design also encounters considerably less friction than the six-screw Vintage model and hence returns to pitch more readily.
As well, the truss rod adjuster is at the head instead of the heel.
