For sale or best offer is a 2017 Godin Dorchester 4 Bass with a Cherry Burst finish. With a retro style, the Dorchester 4 has a slightly offset body shape reminiscent of Mosrite and Rickenbacker. It has a short, 30" scale coupled to a carved and chambered Canadian Laurentian Basswood body. It has a zero fret for spot-on first fret intonation, and is loaded with a pair of Godin's Passive Kingpin Dog-ear P-90 Alnico pickups. This one is in excellent shape, only lightly played. It still has its plastic on its pickguard. It feels great to play and has a wonderfully resonant, woody tone.
It has been professionally setup with flatwound strings, and comes with its original gigbag.
