I am offering for sale a vintage alto horn, manufactured in 1980 at the Orfeus factory in Kiev.

The history of this enterprise is closely tied to the development of the Soviet musical instrument industry. Following a series of reorganizations that began in the first half of the 20th century, the world-renowned Mayak plant was established on the basis of this facility in the 1980s. This legendary manufacturer later became a benchmark for reliability in the USSR, gifting the world such iconic devices as the Mayak-203 reel-to-reel tape recorders, which were famous for their durability and build quality.

Packaging and Shipping:

Shipping is carried out from Ukraine. Please check in advance for any potential customs duties and taxes in your country of destination. Payment of all import duties and fees is the mandatory responsibility of the buyer, in accordance with the applicable laws of the destination country.

We guarantee a professional approach to packaging: the instrument will be securely fixed in a wooden crate. A 3 cm layer of foam will be placed on the top, bottom, and sides, and all free space will be filled with additional packaging material to prevent damage during transit.

Return Policy:

Returns are not accepted. In exceptional cases, if a return has been pre-approved, the buyer is required to pack the instrument, insure it, and ship it back to the seller at their own expense and risk. It is mandatory to provide a valid tracking number from the postal service or courier company handling the delivery.

Upon receipt of a return, we conduct a commission-based unpacking and inspection of the instrument. During this inspection, we verify the absence of third-party interference, including unauthorized adjustments, replacement of parts, soldering, acid cleaning, or any other manipulations not agreed upon with the seller in writing.

Any detected interference with the construction or integrity of the instrument without the seller's written consent is recognized as a violation of the lot's condition and commercial appearance. In such cases, the case will be closed, and no refund will be issued. We ask for your understanding: due to my health condition (disability and limited mobility), I do not have the physical capacity to handle complex logistics and repairs in the event of unauthorized use of the item.
