We have received a 1993 Brian Setzer model.
We have received a 1993 Brian Setzer Signature Model, from the first year of its release.
Based on the Nashville 6120 that Setzer himself used, it comes standard with die-cast knobs, Sperzel locking tuners, a Bigsby tremolo, and a strap lock, and has been tuned up for practical use.
It features a laminated flame maple top, sides, and back, a maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard, and is equipped with two Filtertron pickups.
Controls include individual pickup volume knobs, a master volume knob, a pickup selector switch, and a tone selector switch.
It comes with the original accessories from the time of release: a white Tolex hard case and control knobs stamped with a "G."
The bridge has been replaced (the original is included but is severely rusted and its functionality has not been verified); there are overall scratches and dents, paint discoloration near the selector switch, a crack in the escutcheon, and tarnish on the metal parts.
The frets have over 70% of their original height remaining, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
There are several stickers on the hard case.
