For sale is a 1970s Aria Pro II LP-600R, made in Japan, in a stunning Cherry Sunburst finish.
This guitar features a classic Les Paul Custom-style design with multi-ply binding, block inlays, cream plastics, and a three-pickup layout. It has a very strong Ace Frehley / KISS-inspired look, with the cherry sunburst finish and triple humbucker setup giving it a powerful stage presence.
The pickups are a major highlight of this guitar. It is equipped with early DiMarzio pickups, including square-foot DiMarzio Super Distortion-style pickups, made in the USA. These vintage DiMarzio pickups deliver the aggressive, thick, and sustaining rock tone that made them famous in the 1970s.
The tuners have been upgraded to Grover tuners, giving the guitar solid tuning stability and a classic vintage rock specification.
The guitar is in superb condition for its age. The body, neck, headstock, and hardware are very clean overall, with only minor signs of use expected from a vintage Japanese guitar from the 1970s. Please check all photos carefully for the exact condition.
The neck area looks clean, the frets appear to have plenty of life remaining, and the guitar presents beautifully both from the front and back. The original-style hard case is included.
