This is an outstanding player, all electronics, tuners, controls and switches work as they should
The Ibanez 2358-M (and 2358-R) Al Caiola models were produced from the late 1960s to early 70s, they are Japanese-made (MIJ) copies of the rare Epiphone Al Caiola signature guitar, they feature a unique semi-hollow constructions and specialized wiring.

- Body Type: Semi-hollow body, smaller double-cutaway design.
- Top/Back/Sides:
- 2358-M: Fine-grained maple body.
- Neck: 3-piece maple/walnut slim C-shape neck, set-in.
- Fingerboard: Rosewood with 22 frets, pearl block inlays, white binding, and black side dots.
- Pickups: Pair of Maxon humbucking pickups.
- Controls: 2 volume knobs, two pickup on-off switches (similar to Fender Jaguar), and two tone-switches for fixed frequency roll-off (similar to Gretsch).
- Bridge/Tailpiece: Tune-o-matic style bridge with a specially decorated trapeze tailpiece.
- Hardware: Replaced Grover closed gear
- Features: Black pickguard and top hat knobs.
