Fender Custom Shop Josefina Hand Wound Fat '60s Stratocaster pickups are hand-wound by Master Pickup Winder Josefina Campos in the Fender Custom Shop, delivering first-class vintage sound. Featuring a special blend of historically accurate Formvar wire, fiber bobbins, and beveled Alnico II rod magnets, the single-coil design delivers warm lows, richly tuned mids, and a silky high-frequency spectrum, while lively dynamics support the expressiveness of the electric guitar sound. The Josefina Hand Wound Fat '60s Stratocaster pickup is also wound and biased upside down, eliminating ambient noise when connected to the neck or bridge pickup.
