Give a shredder a Les Paul and...
Here is a 1977 Kalamazoo USA Gibson Les Paul Deluxe. It's in a rare and beautiful natural finish. This guitar was modified in the eighties with Kahler 2200 trem system (I know, I know) and had the bridge pickup routed for a Seymour Duncan Zebra humbucker. This was a not uncommon modification to be made in the 1980s. It has also had a full refret with stainless jumbos. The original mini-bucker remains in the neck position. Aside from that she's original. 3 pce slim maple neck with volute. Pancake mahogany body. It's in remarkably good condition with a little play wear and age cracks in the binding (looks fantastic). There is some minor checking in the finish which is only visible in sunlight. It weighs appr 10.5 lbs and is a serious rock 'n' roll machine made to live forever - Pete Townsend himself couldn't kill this one. This guitar just wails and resonates endlessly. The Kahler modification is easily reversed. Our luthier has fully set this guitar up and refretted it for sweet, low action.
