I believe this is a late 1930s to early 1940s all original Kamaka, Hawaii soprano ukulele. Inside the sound hole. Is the handwritten number 6265. This is a handmade vintage Kamaka pineapple ukulele. Made with all solid wood, made in Hawaii.
The neck appears to have been broken very clean, break and repaired with no additional material. Very nice repair. You can hardly feel it.
The crack on the back seems to have been glued, but the repair could have been better. Structurally the ukulele is still very sound the cracks have been the same way for a long time don’t show any signs of getting worse.
The action is playable. The sound is phenomenal. It includes a vintage soprano case, but I don’t believe it to be original.
