Rare and uncommon Sunn Mustang by Fender Strat-style electric guitar from the 1990s, featuring an original NC-series Made in China neck plate. Based on the serial prefix and construction details, this guitar was most likely produced during the early-to-mid 1990s in one of Fender’s Chinese partner factories from that era.
Unlike many Sunn Mustang guitars commonly found from India, this example appears to be part of a less common Chinese production run and features a solid multi-piece wood body rather than plywood construction.
The guitar has recently been fully serviced and professionally set up. Frets were leveled, crowned and polished, the fingerboard was cleaned and conditioned, and the guitar received a fresh set of Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 10-46 strings. It now plays extremely comfortably with low action and excellent feel across the neck.
Original electronics and pickups remain intact and fully functional.

Condition
Very good vintage condition with cosmetic signs of age and use consistent with a 1990s instrument. The body has been polished while still retaining some authentic vintage character and aging on the hardware. Frets are in excellent playing condition after leveling and polishing.
No back tremolo cover included.
