Suspended cymbals are constructed to offer a lush wash with an even build-up and decay - as you hear in orchestras for mallet rolls.
And that is exactly why this flagship Zildjian K Constantinople 18” sounds so amazing.
The K Constantinople Series is Zildjian’s most revered and expensive cymbal line, and it shows.
Look at the craftsmanship on this 18”. Beautiful shallow to DEEP hammering on the edge.
Weighing in at a ONLY 1357 grams this K Cons is the perfect DARK CLEAN Crash Ride. The profile is low and it has a low pitch to it - it can easily pass as a 19” or 20”.
Rounded over Solid bell provides a nice attack which is fantastic on a dark, thinner cymbal. The bell cuts very well and is more rounded than the regular K one Crash.
Makes a fantastic Semi-Dry Dark Ride that offers strong attack and a quick response, being an 18”.
Perfect as a DARK FULL crash if you have a larger setup - great smaller low pitched controlled rode for smaller setups.
No issues. Perfect shape. Only played for the video.
Great for any style of music. It’s Zildjian top cymbal. Hardly anyone has this. This isn’t drop and ship nonsense.
