This is the one …2005 RICO signed ….actually “RIC” which he almost never signed ..so even cooler. Sounds huge and amazing and pristine. Excellent cosmetic condition, all original parts, perfect working order.
Version 1.1 is highly sought after because of its raw, uncompressed tone, distinct "openness," and massive amounts of low and high-end. Many players consider it the best version because it sits on its own distinct branch of the overdrive evolutionary tree and offers incredible touch-sensitivity.
Compared to later OCD versions that smoothed out the frequency response or changed the volume/tone tapers, the V1.1 has a wider, more aggressive frequency sweep, a saggy, "starved tube" feel, and a massive sweep that can act as both a clean boost and a full-on distortion.
