2025 Gibson J-45 Standard Vintage Sunburst Left Handed w/Case

This J-45 is in Excellent condition — it presents as essentially unplayed, with no scratches, belt rash, or finish wear anywhere on the body or neck. The top finish and back are completely clean. There is minor finish checking at the neck heel where the neck meets the body — a small cluster of hairline surface cracks in the nitrocellulose lacquer, common on new nitro-finished instruments exposed to temperature or humidity changes. It's purely cosmetic, structurally unremarkable, and entirely in keeping with how nitro behaves. No modifications, no repairs.
Included with the guitar: original Gibson hardshell case with checklist and keychain. Case is in excellent condition.

Gibson's J-45 has been nicknamed "The Workhorse" since it was introduced in 1942 — and for good reason. It's the best-selling acoustic in Gibson's catalogue, the guitar that has backed more singer-songwriters in more studios and on more stages than just about anything else with six strings. The reason it keeps showing up isn't mystery: a solid Sitka spruce top over solid mahogany back and sides, hand-scalloped X-bracing, and that classic round-shoulder dreadnought silhouette add up to a sound that's warm without being muddy, projecting without being harsh, and genuinely responsive to how hard or softly you play it.
The J-45 Standard brings that formula into the present with a SlimTaper mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard with a 12" radius, and an onboard L.R. Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup and preamp — volume and tone controls mounted in the soundhole, out of the way and out of sight. It's ready for a stage or a studio session without any additional gear investment. The Vintage Sunburst finish is applied in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, which will continue to age naturally with the instrument over time.
This is the left-handed version — a genuinely difficult guitar to find in this configuration, and especially so used and in this condition.
