Up for sale is a vintage early-80s Vantage VS600B “Witch” bass, made in Japan at the well-regarded Matsumoku factory. These are known for their solid build quality, great playability, and unique body shape.

This one is a player-grade example that’s been refinished in silver over the original aqua blue. The refinish gives it a cool custom look, but it’s not original—so it’s priced accordingly.

There is minor cosmetic damage near the input jack (see photos), but it does not affect functionality. The bass plays well and is a solid gig or studio instrument.
