The Gibson Les Paul Junior has always been the working man's weapon — stripped down, loud, and honest. No frills, no fluff, just a slab of mahogany, a P-90 that bites like it means it, and a wrap-around bridge that transfers every ounce of your playing straight into the wood. This Custom Shop version takes everything that made the original 1950s Junior legendary and builds it the right way, with aged lacquer and hardware that looks like it's already lived a life worth talking about. Plug it into anything and it sounds like rock and roll is being invented all over again.

Based on the serial number (7 7XXX), this guitar dates to either 2007 or 2017. I cannot confirm the exact year with certainty and I am not representing it as one or the other. Please do your own due diligence with the serial number if the specific year is important to you. It is a genuine Gibson Custom Shop instrument. The sale price reflects this uncertainty.

VOS FINISH — VERY IMPORTANT

This guitar features a VOS (Vintage Original Spec) finish. VOS is a deliberate Custom Shop process in which the lacquer and hardware are intentionally aged to replicate a vintage instrument. This means:

• Finish checking (fine crazing/crackling in the lacquer) is present. This is INTENTIONAL — it is not damage, it is the point.

• Hardware including tuners, bridge, and pickup cover will show oxidation, patina, and a dulled aged appearance. This is INTENTIONAL — it is not rust or neglect.

• The finish will not look like a high-gloss modern guitar. That is by design.

If you are unfamiliar with what a VOS guitar looks and feels like, please research it thoroughly before purchasing. I will not accept returns on the basis of dissatisfaction with the VOS aging. It is a feature, not a flaw.

CONDITION — VERY GOOD

Beyond the intentional VOS aging described above, the guitar is in very good used condition. There are minor pick marks, light surface scratches, and small nicks consistent with careful use over time. There are no cracks, breaks, headstock repairs, or structural issues to my knowledge. The neck is straight, all electronics are fully functional, and the guitar plays and intonates well.
