The Hieroglyphic Opalina is a dual-channel stereo state-variable filter network offering two distinct operating modes for spectral shaping and crossover duties. Resonator mode configures three band-pass filters to emphasise formants and resonant peaks, while Isolator mode uses a cascaded topology with variable mid-bandwidth for resonant crossover applications.
The fully analogue signal path provides individual inputs and outputs for each band, continuously variable band input levels, and a soft-clipping circuit on the summed output. Designed for stereo use, it delivers flexible frequency sculpting in a compact 14hp Eurorack module.
Features- RESONATOR Triple bandpass filters with vc peak span and resonance. 12db/oct filter slopes.
- ISOLATOR Cascaded state-variable filters with vc bandwidth and resonance. 24db/oct filter slopes.
- Completely analog signal path.
- Individual band inputs and outputs.
- Continuously variable band input amplitude.
- Soft-clipping circuit on SUM output.
- Dual channel for use in stereo (L & R).
