Very rare, the Yamaha CS-40M is a fully duophonic (not paraphonic—it has two full voice paths) analog synthesizer from the late 70s/early 80s, and among the first to offer program memory.
Gorgeous analog sound, thanks to its multimode filter, ring mod, additional sine waves at the VCA stage, and complex modulation options. Too many specs to itemize here, but plenty of reviews and info available on the internet.
This example is in outstanding condition. Just fully serviced by Synths When in Toronto. Everything works perfectly. Some very minor blemishes, but also in outstanding cosmetic condition for its age.
The instrument is located in Ottawa and available for local pickup. For a fee, delivery along the Toronto-Ottawa-Montreal corridor also possible. Shipping would be expensive, but certainly possible. Please contact me to make arrangements or for a precise shipping quote to your (within Canada only) location.
