It's a killer Mosfet/Germanium overdrive and distortion. A unique fusion of vintage-inspired circuitry and modern innovations, The Altar offers a dual-stage hybrid Germanium/Mosfet circuit, helping this pedal offer a very amp-like driven sound.
The Altar's design integrates a dual-function control system, where each knob manipulates both gain stages and EQ characteristics simultaneously: the left knob governs treble emphasis and overall output, while the right knob shapes bass response alongside global output adjustments. This approach allows for a dynamic interplay between tones from dark and gritty textures or bright, fuzz-laden timbres.
Each Farm Pedals unit boasts detailed construction and assembly, and a unique aesthetic detail. Featuring an industry-standard 9-volt jack and minimalist design, The Altar prioritizes performance and reliability without compromising on sonic excellence.
