A very clean Morris Stratocaster in excellent condition that will be shipped in its original hardcase. There guitar was made in Japan in the 1970’s by Moridaira and was one of the few during that time that were exported bearing the maker's own brand and not with one ordered by a distributor. Very very fresh looking. The top of the body hardly has any marks after its long life, just a couple of small nicks on the side of the body. The frets do show some wear, so the person who had this guitar really took good care of it. It has a bit of a “fretless wonder” feel to it, with its low and flat factory frets and is extremely easy to play. Other features include a maple neck with a maple cap and a skunk stripe. It features original overwound alnico Pickups with Steel base plates, giving a spanky sound reminiscent of a good telecaster bridge pickup x3. The body is as many others in that period a 3-ply sandwich construction as per Gibson's Les Paul designs, here topped with a nice veneer. Original hard case with aluminium trim. Weight: 3.64kg
