Francesco Bissolotti Violin — Cremona, Italy, 2017Model: A. Stradivari 1705

A rare opportunity to acquire an instrument by one of the most important modern Cremonese master luthiers. Francesco Bissolotti (1929–2019) was a leading figure in the revival of traditional Cremonese violin making, trained under Pietro Sgarabotto, Giuseppe Ornati, and deeply influenced by Simone Fernando Sacconi. His instruments have been played by internationally renowned soloists including Uto Ughi, Salvatore Accardo, and Kim Kashkashian.

This violin was crafted in 2017, during Bissolotti's final productive years, and represents the culmination of over six decades of mastery. The instrument has been professionally maintained by Carriage House Violins (Johnson String Instrument) in Newton, Massachusetts — one of the most respected full-service violin shops on the East Coast.
