This is a super rare one!!
The Yamaha SD-513 Carbon Custom carbon fiber snare drum was originally introduced in a very limited edition in 1987 as part of Yamaha's 100th Anniversary. In about 1990 another very limited edition was released. This snare was part of that limited edition. The carbon fiber shell is extremely dense giving it the articulation and projection of a heavy cast shell but at a very light weight. Super fast, clean and very controlled. It speaks with the lightest touch.
It's in great condition, minor signs of wear. No issues, everything works and functions as intended.
These drums are in extreme high demand both by players who demand an exceptional playing drum, and collectors who love it's uniqueness and extreme low production numbers.
