The Furman PB-40 is a professional, modular patchbay system designed for clean, organized signal routing in studio and live rack setups. Offering 40 patch points—more than many comparable units—the PB-40 fits into a single 1U (1.75")rack space and provides a flexible hub for managing outboard gear, interfaces, mixers, and processors.

Built into a heavy-gauge steel chassis, the PB-40 uses 20 individual circuit board modules, each carrying a front pair and rear pair of connectors. This modular design allows for easy serviceability and reconfiguration by swapping modules as needed. A clean front panel includes a blank labeling strip for clearly marking each connection, while a rear cover secures all modules firmly in place.

This unit is configured with 40 total 1/4" input/output jacks for straightforward integration with standard studio gear.
